Be sure that the Ladies are always welcome at reenactments. Whether they be dressed in full period regalia or as "refugees' in camp skirts and a slough hat. Sometimes they are even called into duty to fill in the ranks when needed.

There are numerous suttlerys to purchase either complete costume, from the first layer to the seventh, or buy the yardage and accessories to make your own period costume.
